We collect traditional alliance metrics, including Padmasali Gotram (e.g., Markandeya, Padmarishi, Kashyapa, Vasishta), Nakshatra, Rasi, education, income, and family background. For candidates opting into the modern compatibility engine, we process answers from the 15-question psychological lifestyle quiz to generate Vibe Match percentages.
Our core privacy mandate is the Zero-Knowledge Firewall.
Profiles are never cross-pollinated between the two portals automatically. A profile is only shared across the firewall when a parent explicitly uses the “Recommend to Child” function, which confidentially pushes the selected profile into the candidate's private “Parents' Shortlist” feed. Candidates may interact with this feed (like or pass) without triggering rejection notifications to the parents.
We do not collect Government ID documents today, and no profile on the site currently carries a verified-ID badge. Aadhaar-based verification through a licensed provider is planned; if and when it is introduced, this policy will be updated first and the document itself will never be shown on a profile.
Photos are held in private storage and are only ever served through short-lived links, never on a public address. A contact number is released only to a family that has opened that profile with a credit. You can delete your profile at any time from My Profile; the profile, its photo and every interest tied to it are removed from the live site straight away, and a copy is retained only in the committee's admin records for dispute handling.
